- Vegan mac and cheese has arrived in Bakersfield!
Me and my husband went to mac and cheeza recently and really enjoyed it. I loved that I was able to create my own personalized bowl of mac and cheese with two types of pasta to choose from,a variety of veggie choices (olives,mushrooms,etc.) as well as vegan sausage then have it covered in soy cheese. The only thing that kinda sucked is that their topping options are limited to either a cheese blend or spicy walnuts (my husband is allergic to nuts) but I was happy that I was able to substitute both of these for soy cheese. The soy cheese taste was a little different at first but overall, I was really happy with my food and we're planning to go there again real soon.
