- Simple breakfast, kind service
This was our first meal in Costa Rica. We have no Spanish language knowledge, and the wait staff had limited English ability, but they were incredibly kind and understood that we were vegan. We had toast on a whole grain bread, a homemade jam, a fruit bowl, and some delicious black coffee. They also have free wifi and a breezy, open-air patio. Their shop sells some vegan snacks, green products, cook books and health-related books. Lastly, this is most certainly not a tourist destination; the employees greeted the customers by name.
