  • Terrific food, although pricey

I found the food to be really excellent. It was filling and well balanced without being heavy. They make a number of vegan variations of traditional dishes, like "chicken" cordon bleu. They do not serve alcohol, but have a wide selection of non-alcoholic beers and wine. Even on a Sunday, the place was almost full. I took the last table outside. I would strongly suggest reservations. As other reviewers have noted the prices are high, even for the center of Munich. I found the service to be average for Germany -- which follows different norms that the US and can strike Americans as rude or indifferent. The decor is nice. It's small with a significant amount of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The restaurant is on a quiet side street near the subway stop, so it's convenient but not loud or crowded.
