- Boring Vegan Burger
I really wanted to love this restaurant, as the reviews looked good, a couple friends told me it was good, and I love the New York Diner atmosphere. I ordered a vegan burger, fries and coleslaw. The burger was really lacking in the texture and taste department. Tasted like some flavorless chickpeas spread on a bun. The french fries I felt could have been crispier and more tasty. I did really enjoy the tiny portion of coleslaw which came with the dish. Perhaps I should have just ordered a huge portion of the coleslaw. As a number of companies are introducing amazing vegan burgers at retail stores, I think this and many other restaurants are going to have to up their game with creating more exciting vegan burgers.
