• Funky little cafe by the beach

This little place is a great place to chill on a nice day, staring off into the blue yonder of the sea. The menu is simple and macrobiotically minded - modest plates of curry etc and a selection of desserts, which are often really good (they're always different so it can be a bit of a lottery but they're never bad). Love the interior design - has a strong hippy vibe but not offputtingly so. I think they have the balance right. They also sell books and miscelleneous foods, many of them related to hemp and 60's alternative culture. All in all, a good rest stop if you're in the area. My favourite thing on the menu is the hemp chai, which comes in a warming Japanese tea-style earthen cup and goes perfectly with a slice of whatever vegan cake is on the menu for the day.
