- Maybe the best pizza I ever had
We were driving back to Seattle from the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, and it was getting late, and we were desperate to find veggie-friendly food. A call to someone at a computer turned up the Pizza Research Institute. The pizza is excellent. Great specials, great toppings choices, and the sauce is flavorful; tangy and spicy and full-bodied. Only downside: they are only open for dinner. On a later driving trip from Seattle to Los Angeles, we made a special stop in Eugene to take the kids to PRI, but they are not open during lunch hours! Now living on the east coast, I still dream about PRI pizza....
