  • Stunning setting, lovely food.

We decided to give this a five, in recognition of the beautiful setting as well as the food! It's a really special place, full of books and beautifully decorated, with a little outdoor seating area in an inner courtyard (complete with cushions!). You can get a lovely menu for 12 euros, where you pick one thing from each bit of the menu (a salad, a pasta dish and a flatbread with toppings), and it comes to you on one plate. My (all vegan) selections were an avocado salad (tasty), a flatbread with green beans and some sort of veggie pate (very tasty) and fresh spaghetti with breadcrumbs, tomatoes & garlic (amazing)! My partner had stuffed pasta, and an aubergine & mozzerella flatbread. Staff were also very clear about what was & wasn't vegan. It really filled up after we arrived, so it's probably best to get there early. Excellent location, right near the Uffizi.
