- Is this a café or an office?
We tried out this place today and were quite disappointed. The good things first: The hot chocolate was huge and tasted amazing and the service was friendly. For main dish we tried the pizza which was far away from being great - the dough came out of a pack and was not fresh at all, the soy cheese didn't taste of anything at all and the few pieces of red pepper and courgette were neglectable. And where were the herbs on the pizza as it was promised on the menu? We also had a portion of chips which were too salty and cost 3€, and it certainly was no big portion.. For desert we tried some date-hazelnut energy balls for 0,7€ each which were very good, though. My organic yogi tea cost 1,9€ (quite a small glass). For two people, we paid 23€ and we weren't particularly satisfied and full. In addition to all that, the place wasn't cosy or anything close to that at all. We felt like we were sitting in an office or so. Everyone around us was either chatting on the phone or/and working on their laptops. Yorck52 is certainly nothing I would plan a visit to again but I will give it another try when I'm in the area, maybe I will grab a sandwich or try the wild herbs salad next time. I'll give tree cows for the all-vegan menu. There is also a vegan brunch every Monday from 10am to 3pm. Edit: Apparently, according to their website Yorck52 is no real cafe but a co-working space (whatever that means) which might explain the laptops, the computers in the gallery room and the non-cosyness^^
