• Good local food, excellent value

This place is actually quite close to our hotel so we came here for dinner. Not hard to find at all with the street sign. Staff was friendly but very little English. Ordering was easy with the well illustrated menu, but be prepared to whip out your translation app if you have even simple questions beyond what you can already see. We ordered a rice dish with four different fried items, mushroom satay, a tempeh side that came with a soup, and fried noodles. Everything was great, and we were even happier when we saw bill—only IDR 67,500 (USD ~5)! The kicker was that they had no phones or taxi numbers and were unable to call us a cab. We ended up walking down the road to a nearby hotel and asking their front desk for help. So, make sure to have your return transportation arranged before you decide to eat here.
