• Good vegan options! Good prices!

I stopped in to Stone Soup when I was in town, and was pleased to find the word "vegan" was actually in the local vocabulary (not so where I'm from!). I ordered the seitan steak sandwich and my boyfriend got the vegan club, and my friend went for the buffet. The seitan is excellent, and the bread is just awesome. My friend enjoyed the jamaican tempeh on the buffet so much (she's not even vegetarian). The chocolate cake was also quite good. We were very pleased with the prices, food selections, and friendliness of the staff. The sandwiches came about 15 minutes after ordering but worth the wait. It was quite hot in there on a summer day as there is no air conditioning, but you quickly forget about the temperature after taking a bite of the food. My only disappointment was they had no vegan pizza left, and said they had it daily but when I went back another day they said they decided not to make it that day :-(
