  • A True Vegan Paradise

A wonderful experience from start to finish, I am a vegetarian who occasionally dabbles with veganism my hubby is an Omnivore, but we were both blown away by the wonderful food provided by Mark, every meal was beautifully served and filled with good, wholesome, interesting and tasty food, so enjoyable but at the same time healthy, the variety was great. As for the Lodge it self, such a beautiful house, just the two guest rooms, with big four poster beds and on-suite bathroom, open the doors and onto a large balcony area, west facing for magical sunsets and one of the most beautiful views you will ever see, high over the 'city' of St Georges looking out on to the Caribbean Sea. No Air-con, you don't need it the gentle trade winds keep you cool and no TV, just WiFi and marks great music collection during dinner, heaven so restful and rejuvenating. Mark arranged several trips for us, a tour of the island, a Trek and a snorkelling and a trip on a 45' Trimaran, what a wonderful day that was and the beaches were wonderful, Grand Anse, La Sagesse, Magazine all wonderful but our favourite, especially on 'cruise ship days' was Morne Rouge, the beach bar did a fab Veg Roti and Ginger Beer. Travel around the island is easy on the local buses and the locals are very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a holiday of a life time for us, a rare eating experience and total relaxation
