Thought it was time to update my original 14 year old review now that we’re regular visitors to Berwick. The Green Shop is a fabulous and essential part of the Town’s retail culture and ethos supplying locals with vegan groceries, ethical toiletries, fair trade crafts, confectionery, wines and spirits, vegan cheeses and deli items, fresh fruit and veg and locally baked breads. One of the best range of products under one roof you’ll see in the North East of England. They do sell a small range of organic meats unfortunately but such is life. Highly recommended, a visit to Berwick would not be complete without coming here. Updated from previous review on 2010-05-24
