  • Church of meat - vegan options lacking

This place is not reccomended for vegans - infact I think the restararaunt actively discourages people who don't eat meat. For example, their tofu burger (which was quite nice infact, patty was tempura battered) is called "Holier Than Thou" - I don't want to support a place that makes fun of me and my ethics just because they have a lot of hype and two average vegan burgers. A burger with venison is called "Little Lamby" etc - the menu is disgusting. They do have two vego burgers which can be made vegan, they are happy to let you customise your burgers, tell you what is and isn't vegan. The 'Holier Than Thou' burger was good, the tempura batter on the tofu patty is similar to that of a deep fried piece of fish. The burger was good... not impressive and not by any means did it live up to the wait times and hype, but it was enjoyable and for (I think) around $13 it is a nice cheap meal. Not worth the wait though, and not worth supporting this vegan-shunning church of meat in my opinion.
