- First visit - Sugar Plum Cafe
Delicious food although a very long wait time. Cashier said 15 minutes and 50 minutes later my order arrived. I don't know whether it was an unusual day, however my first impression was the guy at the counter was somewhat unfriendly (or stressed?) - felt like I was inconveniencing him with my order. The restaurant has a lovely cafe feel to it/downtown decor, with various seating areas including a welcoming outdoor area. I had the vegan bacon burger with potato wedges. It was incredibly delicious though a little too oily. I would eat here and definitely recommend this venue, however do make accommodations for the wait. Perhaps go shopping at nearby businesses or read a novel in the patio while your food is being prepared.
