As a vegetarian/mostly vegan, I hate limiting myself to vegan-only places when traveling, so I came here because it looked more interesting than thai. It was a pretty cool place, a local hangout, and I was glad to have gone. In terms of veggie-friendly: not so much. I asked if I could replace the cheese from the tree-hugger sandwich with mushrooms (sometimes this works) and was told it would be an up-charge for mushrooms. Then they brought the sandwich and the bread was slathered in cheese. I probably didn't read the description carefully enough, but they did take it back without question and remaked it on sourdough. Bottom line: they have a vegan hummus plate ($11 though!?) and a sandwich that with two substitutions can be vegan. Fun local place with interesting beers.
