- Vegan surprise in Hoegi-Dong
I stumbled over this place by coincidence, just seeing the little blackboard outside stating 'cakes - no dairy, no eggs' (inside they state more explicitely that they are vegan). They have a small selection of vegan cakes (apple or carrot; 4k won), scones and muffins (~2.5k won if I remember correctly), coffee and tea. The place is very cozy and nice to hang out (free wifi!) and the staff speaks ok English. I had the apple cake which was super delicious. They could do more in terms of marketing but they already fare very well in terms of making a vegan, stranded in East Seoul happy :-)
