- Happy with Happy Green :)
What a lovely experience :D We just went there today and hung out for a couple hours, had a delicious meal that seemed quite healthy, too, and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon with a very nice view of the garden, and the majestic temple across the river. Exactly what we needed. The 2 ladies who worked there are very kind and speak enough English to have all our questions and requests answered. This little oasis is not to be missed! This place is open till 8 pm (20:00), by the way. Happy Cow says 6 pm, but I'll send them the update. It's basically an all you can eat buffet for 140 baht, and they have a menu as well. Drinks were separate. Yes, we enjoyed it and we'd like to go back. We left around sunset time, and that's when the mosquitoes started to show up. So, it seems like if you want to avoid mosquitoes, come before sunset time. The best weather in this hot season is before 4 pm. So the best time to enjoy Happy Green is between morning, and 3 pm, in my opinion. They also have some organic veggies for sale. We got a kilo of organic onions for 40 baht. They also sell coconuts that grow right there, in the garden, but those are 60 baht a pop, which is definitely up there. So I asked several times, and the ladies said it's ALL vegan. I'll send Happy Cow that update as well.
