- Best veg in Monteverde
This was the best place we ate in Monteverde. There just aren't a lot of vegetarian choices here. The restaurant has both indoor seating and a patio with outdoor seating surrounded by greenery. We had the grilled eggplant, hummus with whole wheat pita, and the orange soup. The orange soup was made with pumpkin, carrot, sweet potatoes, ginger and coconut. It was only 3,500 colones. It was very good. My son had the falafel that come with fries, a salad, tahini and tzatziki sauce. It was 5,300 colones which was preset good considering the generous portion.
