- Pleasant Cafe, Lots of Vegan Options
My husband and I came here for lunch while in Arashiyama and really enjoyed it! The staff were friendly and were kind enough to let me borrow a cable to charge my camera while there. Some items on the menu include chicken, and as the kitchen is open into the seating area you might be uncomfortable with the smell of cooking meat. The vegan items we tried though were really nice, including the taco rice, curry, pound cake, and matcha cake. I'd go back if I was in the area again. Updated from previous review on 2017-02-11
