- Disappointing
I called in for coffee and cake with my partner. The lady serving wasn't very friendly and it made for an uncomfortable start to our visit. She placed two menus down and proceeded to ignore us for ten minutes. There was only one other table of customers. Eventually she took the order and seemed reluctant to do so. I ordered one piece of cake and two lattes. Cake was lovely but the bill of over £8 was expensive I thought. The atmosphere in the place was uncomfortable due to the surly staff. It was if they resented customers being there. There was no acknowledgement when we left. I doubt that I would return. They are going to have to change if they are to remain in business. It's a niche enough market as it is. A wasted business opportunity.
