- A great find!
The last review for Sonja (sp) was written two years ago, so I was hoping she'd still be at the marketplace during my visit. She was! Sonja (sp) sells fresh veggies and fruits, very good lentil burgers (get there early when they are really warm - yum!), seasoned pumpkin seeds, and vegan desserts...let's talk about the desserts, shall we? The desserts are what I would call "good for you" desserts - made from cassava, flax seeds, and even molasses. All seemed to be mildly sweetened, which I like - I'm beginning to appreciate the "less is more" approach with foods (especially treats). A visit to the Sunday market on Holders Hill is definitely worth it. Sonja also makes deliveries on Fridays - a bonus!
