- Great food, great place
When I arrived at Ti-im I didn't know what to expect. A friend invited me for lunch and basically I just showed up. The restaurant is easy to find (exactly where Google Maps leads you to) but it's small and unassuming from the outside. Once inside it all becomes clear. This cosy little place is ran by a true Israeli man who speaks excellent English and Japanese. Because the restaurant is so small, guests and staff automatically start talking to each other. The experience alone is worth a visit! And if that were not enough, the food is great as well. The dishes are real Israeli meals, not tailored to Japanese taste in any way. The main ingredient on the menu is falafel, which means this place is also suitable for vegans. Although only one menu option is targeted at vegans, three others can easily be changed into vegan as well. If you run out of pita bread, a "refill" is free. Yes, prices are a bit steep (we paid 3,500 yen for lunch for two) but the good food and the good conversation well makes up for it.
