We had the 2 course lunch, great value at £9.50. We arrived just before it opened and mouth was already watering reading the menu! Didn't actually realise that it was the previous day's menu and I'd already got my heart set on one of the desserts so when we saw that day's menu I was gutted! However after starters and main I asked the very lovely waitress if there was any chance of sampling the lime and pink peppercorn meringues with chocolate dipping sauce and I was in luck! They are so delicious, sounds a bit of an unusual combination but I highly recommend them!!! Our starters and main courses were pretty fab too, very fresh and arrived promptly. Great atmosphere, decor and finishing touches with napkins in napkin rings, with a lovely artichoke illustration. We need this type of restaurant on the south coast!
