Although I'm very satisfied with the other veggie options in the area, I decided to try this place that I ran across. They have a daily set menu for 5 Soles (approx. US$1.80). For the price, you get an appetizer, juice, and the main plate. The menu is posted at the front door, and every day it looks like very basic food. I tried it a few days ago, and indeed, it is very basic. The meal was nearly flavorless, and only had 3 tiny pieces of tofu meat. Lots of undercooked potatoes, but amazingly, brown rice (the only veggie restaurant in the neighborhood with brown rice). Breakfast is also available for 3 Soles. Quite honestly it wasn't worth the small price I paid. There are so many other better choices within just a few blocks of here, I couldn't imagine going here again. The only advantage it has is the slightly lower price.
