• Cafe Sol is our Fave Place to eat!

Cafe Sol received the Best Vegetarian Restaurant in 2017 in the Portrait magazine by the Daily Sentinel. We always have a great meal at Cafe Sol. Fresh made to order salads, a daily vegan soup, smoothies, appetizers panini's and they have a Veganini panini. Cafe Sol is very accommodating if you find something that sounds good but has animal products in it, they will exchange them for another fruit or veggie. They make everything at the restaurant except the bread which they get locally too. They have such a variety of salads to choose from and fresh-made dressings. We usually get a combo soup and salad or salad and panini. The large salad is a great bowl of lettuce and toppings. We love to dine at Cafe Sol as we always get a fresh meal and the location downtown is great! Been going there for years and will continue as the owner is always trying new things. We feel so fortunate to have consistent, good quality meals every time. I would give Cafe Sol a 5 Star rating but Happy Cow has a pre-set rating system: "The restaurant rating system is set to disallow a "5 Star" overall rating for restaurants which are "Veg-Friendly. We do this to show extra support & consideration for pure vegetarian and vegan businesses." Updated from previous review on 2016-12-29
