- Creative use of locally grown, native ingredients
Juicy Brew is doing some amazing stuff with locally grown, native ingredients like ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), olena (turmeric), etc which is super important in shifting Hawaii's food system towards one that is self-sustaining. I would choose the Kaimuki location over this one, especially if it's your first time going. This location is in a medical building, and is more of a grab and go lunch place.
