  • I've never had a meal there but...

I have been known to travel from London by train (an hour and 20 minutes) then walk to the other side of Brighton (a further 20 minutes) JUST for their vegan donuts. They're called chorros, and are straight Mexican-style donuts with the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar, chocolate dipping sauce, and some sort of black cherries in poncy liqueur stuff. Sure, at nearly £8 for 3 they are also the most expensive donuts ever, but they're quite honestly worth it. And, while one style of pricey donuts is hardly on a par with the amazing Mighty O's in Seattle (think a vegan Dunkin' Donuts/Krispy Kreme), I don't have to fly across the Atlantic to get there. I only wish they did vegan hot chocolate. Fruit tea & donuts just isn't the same :(
