- Lovely old pub serving vegan food
We visited this pub for a Sunday lunchtime, and having warned them in advance were offered a vegan menu with 4 starters, 5 mains, and 3 sweets. The options were interesting, and not the unimaginative meals sometimes offered - including meringue made with chick-pea water for sweet! The staff were very helpful, and the food very nice and well presented. The pub is a lovely old rural stone-built building on the edge of Dartmoor, with a number of cozy small and medium sized rooms. We really enjoyed our meal there, and hope others will.
