Great Friday night spent at Modern Love. Service and food met all my expectations. As a native New Englander, I was excited to taste the 'Glam Chowder', part of the Surf and Turf entree, and it was extraordinary! Also tried the Pot Pie which tasted exactly like a homemade chicken pot pie (minus the cruelty) -- very savory and filling! We also ended the meal with a warm brownie and ice cream, sweet perfection. Love the food, but definitely a bit pricey for portions. The cocktails also need to come way down in price... they're good, but not $12 good. I do think they have enough unique offerings that will drive people to the restaurant, but unfortunately I will not be able to afford to come here more than once or twice a year (maybe three times if I drink water rather than sangria). With that said, the physical space itself is amazing... clean, modern, and shiny! Great addition to Brooklyn!
