- appealing buffet not far from the center
Nice spot, and one of the few (if only) reliable veg choices in the city. Decent and varied buffet, though it was nearly depleted when I arrived at 2 p.m. on a Saturday, and was also only about half vegan (the rest had egg and cheese). It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the center, but it's a pleasant one: you can walk down Carranza until hitting the lovely Jardin Tequisquiapan and then walk two blocks north to Zapata. Food is usually gone by 3 or 3:30 p.m.
