- Surprising Vegan Options
In the central Piazza Efisio e Pasquale Tola, among many other restaurants and bars, it was a surprise to find La Bottega Pizzeria with quite a few vegan options. We went here a couple of times; the first time ordering a vegan panino (veg capriccio), the second time ordering a pizza. The panini are great; they must weigh about eight pounds. The cheese on the pizza is really good although they are a bit too doughy and maybe a little too many ingredients on them. You can sit inside or out in the piazza. It's a very lively square in the evenings; great atmosphere. The owner was very nice and everyone who works there is, really. It's a great place to support if you're in Sassari or nearby. They serve meat so I'll give 4 stars.
