I just finished off my best vegan meal in Japan at this place! The restaurant is a bit difficult to find, I took a 30min busride from Kyoto station but it was totally worth it! For those of you who, like me, also wanted to go to the Gion area, it's the same buss so this would be a great pitstop on the way. The restaurant setting is a great mix of traditional and modern. They have 3 types of vegan noodle soups, where you get to choose the noodles, topping and size - biggest bowel cost 1050yenThey also have some dessert and some set meals. However you should know they have a small siesta so the working hours are 11:30 - 14:30 and then open again 18-21:30.
