- Average burger in a dry bun
We had two seitan burgers - one with sweet potato chips and one with French fries. Apart from the seitan burger, the bun was filled with a slice of tomato and one of pineapple. Although I love fusion cuisine, this combo didn't work for me. Plus the bun was stone cold (like out-of-the-fridge-cold), crumbly and dry. The sweet potato chips were nice, but ask 'without the mayo' if you're a vegan. It's a good value for money- with a jug of sangria, we paid just under €25. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal but it wasn't great either. That said, in vegan-phobic Madeira this place can be a saviour. I'm
