We stumbled across this place towards the end of our day trip to Italy and also the end of our 9 day honeymoon. We wanted to get something to eat before getting back in the car and driving to Bergamo airport. I was instantly grabbed by it thanks to all the handwritten signage out front advertising their vegan food (not something you find easily in Italy). We grabbed a seat out front opposite the Duomo at no extra charge, which was a nice surprise. After a chat with a lovely lady who spoke excellent English we went with her recommendations of "hearty grub". My husband had the baked polenta with courgettes. He was absolutely delighted with it. I myself had gnocci which was out of this world. We both like to eat and we like big portions, this place did not let us down. We were very sad to have to eat so quickly and run back to our car as it would be well worth sampling more of their dishes if you have more time. As I said, we had spent 9 days in Italy and had eaten in several cities - this was by far the nicest meal out the lot. Highly recommend.
