  • Okay but

We ate here twice in August, one week apart. First for lunch then for dinner. Yes, you can get Daiya but it is $4 extra. I know because I had to speak with the waitress about the surcharge. Also, if you want a GF vegan pizza, you have to do a make-your-own and it comes out to something like $25 for a not particularly huge pizza. But in Anchorage everything is expensive, so . . . They also have a kale and quinoa bowl, where the quinoa is more of a garnish that is sprinkled over the kale. There is a very limited selection of pasta. No spaghetti. The red sauce is delicious, but this is mainly a pizza place, and there are something like a dozen specialty pizzas, all sporting items like barbecued chicken, or sausage or reindeer (I made that up but you get the picture). There are veg items but they are the minority. My kids are vegetarian and not vegan and even they were less than thrilled on our second visit. The crust is tasty with the wood firing, and I was really glad we found it the first time when we were just off the plane and starving. But the second time, for dinner, with the huge price tag and limited offerings and not great service, it started to get on my nerves.
