- Excellent Vegan Pizza
Long awaited Veggie Crust is finally open and well worth the wait. While many vegan pizzas are to be tolerated, the Veggie Crust vegan pizzas are to be savored. Do not pass up the gobi Manchurian pizza, it is something special. The whole wheat crust was excellent; crispy, but not like a cracker. Both the Manchurian sauce and the curry leaf pesto were good, although the pesto was a bit oily. As a bonus the vegan cheese was used sparingly, which is not always the case. In addition to pizza, Veggie Crust has many other items, all of which are vegetarian, most of which can be made vegan. There is a full blown juice bar and, as an added bonus, several vegan ice cream flavors for dessert. Overall a delicious and welcome addition to the Boston area's vegan restaurants.
