- Nice to have but a bit dingey
I get it, it is a traditional 'real' pub that hasn't been 'invaded by hipsterdom' but really this is just a bit shabby and needs a bit of an update. Dingey atmosphere, laddish and smells of stale beer. Nice to have veggie 'pub food' in the trad (unhealthy!) sense, and good to have something to complement the 'avocado sourdough brigade' but not sure they quite pull it off unfortunately.
