- Delightful surpise close to the Old Town
Freta 33 was a delightful discovery in a quite touristic street close to Warsaw's Old Town. The restaurant in itself is very pleasant, especially if you get a table in the terrace outside. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. As concerns the food, they use organic and local produce and spring water. The dishes are very creative, unpretentious and absolutely delicious. While the menu only marks gluten and milk allergens, there are many vegan items on the menu or items which can be made vegan by simply not adding cheese. I had two types of bruschetta (olives and tomato), zuchini flowers, and millet with mushrooms and blck lentils and it was brilliant. Unfortunately no vegan dessert. They also served a complemetary jar of water with lemon and bread with olive oil for starters. A nice surprise, very recommended.
