• Vegans beware of Gardein menu

I love that the Yard house has vegan options. This is a great place to go with a mixed group of eaters and we usually pick a Yard House location whenever we go out for celebrations with omnivores. However, I wish that they would clearly mark items that are vegan. Most of the Gardein menu is only vegetarian and we've been mislead several times by uneducated servers. My husband used to love getting the Gardein sliders until we found out that the bun is not vegan. Also, I believe that anything battered has egg in it, but I still have not gotten clarification on that. When I've asked in the past, nobody seems to know. They do have a new burger that is called a Vegan Burger, so I'm excited to go back and try that. I hope that they will continue to move forward in making more vegan-friendly changes. It's a fun place to go and we love the beer selection!
