• Best vegan ice cream around Duisburg

The owner is a very dedicated woman super sweet. She lets you taste the different flavours before you decide and she makes everything herself. It has several different vegan ice cream options. Passion fruit, mango, lemon, strawberry and others. It's not sorbet though. It's like milk ice; super creamy. Today they also had chocolate deluxe (superb!), almond (with toasted almond splinters) and hazelnut nougat (amazing). Ask about the vegan choices. It's not specified in the menu. But they are super sweet and tell you everything. You could get house made sauces as well as a topping: blueberry, strawberry and chocolate were vegan when we were there. I had an espresso afterwards and it came with a teeny tiny ice cream cone. The cutest thing (see pictures)! DEFINITELY worth a try when you're in the area. The owner said recently they had a vegan poppyseed-marzipan flavour. So you see she's experimenting a lot. In the winter months they are open too and offer wintery flavours like apple cinnamon or almond biscuit ("spekulatius").
