- Highly recommended!
Located in the Central market (Mercado de abastos) and surrounded by other 'not-so-vegan' businesses, this little vegan oasis is surely worth visiting for everyone staying in Cadiz. The owner is very friendly, the service fast and they change the menu every day. I went there 3 times during my stay and had lentil hamburger, ensaladilla, saitan with potatoes, paella, moussaka and the owner even offered me a (very generous) taste of another vegan dish with bechamel. Prices for tapa range from 2 to 2,5 euros and the portions are good. What else to say: great! UPDATE: I came back to Cadiz this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this little stall at the market has become a beautiful and cozy restaurant in the Populo neighborhood. The menu is much wider, and I was also glad to see that the quality of the service and food is not only the same but has even improved! If you are vegan (or vegan-curious), this place is a must. You will surely repeat! Updated from previous review on 2016-08-27
