- Great for Vegetarians, no vegan options
I got taken here by some friends for breakfast, and their food looked great. One got french toast, and it looked amazing; the whipped cream looked like it was actually fresh. Another got 'Morucas' with Chilaquiles and again, it all looked amazing. They were both really happy, and the food was super reasonably priced and they said they were really full. But if you don't eat dairy or are vegan, this place will be hard for you. Everything has cheese and/or eggs as a main ingredient. Organizing something without those would be hard, and you would probably honestly not be able to actually get rid of the ubiquitous butter*. I ended up with less food than my friends and paid more, because there really wasn't anything to replace the dairy products with... *A reminder here, as always: in most Mexican restaurants (even the vegetarian ones) butter is not considered a dairy product. It's important to mention butter specifically, even after saying you're vegan or don't eat dairy products, and to say you have an allergy.
