- Outstanding cakes
This place would make a killing just selling cakes, drinks and buns. Rest of vegan fayre is just too standard and ordinary to really bother with, although it's OK if you don't want to cook, but by the journey there (middle of housing estate) you'd have cooked it yourself. The region needs a Steel City Cakes type place, the regular food is just too standard and may well put non vegans off. Owner is lovely and the cupcakes are to die for, does extremal catering too (would love to see as a supplier at other tea rooms etc). Definitely worth a visit. Would be 5* with greater focus and a central location.
