- The Best Place for Vegan Gelato!!
We were in Italy for seven weeks and this was our favourite gelateria! It's in a nice area, near the huge Villa Ada Savoia park. Easy to get to with the #63 bus from the city centre (Trevi area, etc). The owner is very nice and interesting to talk to. They have so many choices and some really interesting flavours (pomegranate, Bronte (Sicily) pistachio, etc). Everything is very well made and fresh. They even have vegan cones. The gelato is olive oil-based which sounded a little odd but there is no olive or oily flavour, at all. Definitely the first gelato I'd try if I went back to Rome!
