• Good food on closing day

We had to have a quick dinner before the Flag show at Melkweg, yesterday. We got the menu and chose (I had the vegan burger, my bf the mozza salad NV and our friends the quiches NV) and got our meal prettu quickly. It looked amazing and low and behold, it tasted amazing too. The bread on the burger was delicious. The side salad crispy, fresh ans flavoursome. The 'yoghurt'-garlic sauce soothing and the potatoes crispy. We gulfed it all down, because we were in a hurry AND because it was so comforting. The lady of the house came to apologize, because the menu was smaller than usual, because it was the last day before the closed for renovations. We lookad at her bewildered, thinking 'what are you apologizing for woman! This is heaven!' So I guess when they're not closing up, there's even more choice and variety. Can't wait! This is my fav spot for pre-Melkweg-parties!
