If you dine in, expect to give way to Take-Out customers, as explained by the manager. Not off to a good start there. Also not sure about Happy Cow's "inexpensive" rating, as it's not that! However, a very nice selection of Vego/Vegan menu items, including pies (locally made) and salads. The place is listed as Veg-Friendly by HappyCow, but really it's the other way around, as most of the items are Vego, and they cater to non Vegos with a couple of token meat items. They display local artists' work on the walls, which are available for purchase. The coffee is average, but then we've been spoilt by having coffee made for us by Miss Kate (another story). They open early, so it's a good option for breakfast.
