- Like Walking Into A Different City
This restaurant was like walking into a different city. Such a curious and fairy tale-like little village! It was very cold and I ventured out alone on a small trek and discovered I was near this place. Decided to go in and check it out. The vibe..the ambience..so different than what I'd been experiencing during my Norwegian travels up to that point. It was romantically lit..with string lights and dark colors everywhere. Truly nice scene to walk into. The tea was a warming reprieve from the chilly night, They do have many vegan friendly food items on their menu. I ate enough for two people. I had a potato dish which was served in a small metal terrine. I think I amazed the waiter with my ability to order and eat so muuuuch food. I was the only person eating alone and I suppose that's weird in Norway..because i did get a few pity looks, but I was too busy enjoying the gnosh to be bothered. Worth a visit as there are not many places to visit food-wise here.
