  • Vegan Menu

We were told about this restaurant whilst on holidays in Marsalforn. We rang to check they had a vegan menu but were told they had a special event and set menu for that particular night so we didn't go. We rang again another day and the vegan menu was available. It is a fairly traditional Italian restaurant. The separate vegan menu included choices for starters, pastas, mains and desserts. The staff understood what vegans ate and didn't eat (unlike many restaurants we have come across in Gozo). I had 2 starters - an eggplant parmigiana and an apple and walnut salad. Both of which were good size serves and full of flavour. I had a turmeric cake for dessert. I spoke to the chef after our meal and he said the turmeric cake was an experiment. If he can experiment like that it's worth tasting all of his experiments. It was one of the best vegan cakes I've had.
