- decent cake
Having spent millions of years not having cake, I think if I get something half decent I go overboard. Had a tiramasu and a blueberry cake( I shard I'm not that gutsy) and both were really good. Light sponge and soy cream also so light it felt like the stuff you used to get in a can. Plentybof blueberry and coffee toppings both were delicious. All three cakes available were vegan but a lot of smaller bites were not, however they weee marked accordingly. I left satisfied and yet not over full, go on, try some. Two years on and back again. I wasn't as impressed as I was last time. A black forest gateaux and a tiramisu cake were both decent but not outstanding. It was mainly the cream which tasted like the vegan tinned squirty cream in a tin and was too light and fluffy for cake (imo). Vegan cakes have come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years and hot cakes is much the same. Which is decent but not worldy.
