Open only a couple of days, Kind Crust extends Glasgow's vegan/veggie reach a little bit further east (before this the most easterly outpost of dedicated vegan/veggie fare was Tapa, a few hundred metres west of here). It's a sandwich shop really, with a few seats mainly outside, but offers online and delivery to commercial premises within 1.5 miles, including catering sized trays. There is an impressive variety of vegan fillings on offer, and only a few of those listed fall into the vegetarian category. There are also vegan cakes and snacks plus hot and cold drinks. We tried the full Scottish bagel (tempah rashers, portobello mushroom, tomato and tattie scone) and a vegan croissant for our breakfast - both very good. Looking forward to trying out the online delivery at work and getting a chance to sample the lunch menu.
